U19 A Women's Provincial Championship Schedule
We are one weekend away from the U19 A Women’s Provincial Championships in Warman and we are getting excited! This will be a jam-packed action-filled weekend of some amazing softball right here in Warman!
Don’t miss your chance to stop by the diamonds at Prairie Oasis Park and cheer on the Twin City Angels team! Check out the schedule for game times starting Friday, July 19th at 10:30pm on Diamond #6.
Volunteer opportunities are still required for gate admission, 50/50 sales, and other general operations. Please email Fern at treasurer@warmanminorball.com if you can spare even an hour of time!

Infield Mask
In 2017 the Twin City Angels board made the decision to mandate the use of infield masks, for anyone playing 1st base, 3rd base or Pitcher. The simple reason for this was player safety, the new bats being used have much more compression and accelerate the ball faster than most players can react. May 27th a player in the U12 age group playing 3rd base, was hit directly in the forehead above the eye knocking the mask off her head. The player was removed from the game for precautionary reasons and was able to resume playing the next inning, had she not been wearing her mask the outcome would have been much different. The photo shows how the impact of the line drive dented her mask, but prevented any injury to the player. Those of us that grew up not wearing masks when we played ball have questioned the need for the masks or that they are not part of ball, should be thankful that there are products now available to minimize injury.
U19 Provincial Championships are coming to Warman
Great News! The U19A Girls Provincials are coming to Warman. Mark it on your calendars July 19 – 21.
The girls need your support, head out to cheer them on.
Let’s show Softball Sask they made the right choice in picking Warman. The ball diamonds are awesome and just primed for events like this. If the U19 goes smoothly, is well attended, then the better the chance we get more provincials for different age groups in the future.
*Finally, we need VOLUNTEERS. Whether you can commit an hour, a day, or all three days you are needed.
Contact Fern at treasurer@warmanminorball.com to sign up.*
